| Q1. How do I logon for the first time? (back) |
| A1. Click on the Teams link on the Home page. From the Current Team List Go To: your teams Division. Click on your team name. That will take you to your Team's Home page. From the Team Administration frame click drag your mouse over the Coach's name to highlight it. Right click to copy the highlighted name. Click on the Home link. Click on the Member ID text box. Right click and paste the copied Coach's name in the text box. Click on the Password text box. Enter "'newuser"' and then press the Submit button. |
| Q2. How do I change my Password or Member ID? (back) |
| A2. To change your password you must be a member. From the Home page enter your assigned Member ID and Password then press the Submit button. After authentication you will be directed to your teams home page. From the Team Administration frame click on the (more...) link. Click on any name link to maintain that persons profile. You can edit all text boxed data. Be sure to press Update when complete. Be sure to note your new Member ID and Password. |
| Q3. Do I have to enter my games Schedule? (back) |
| A3. No! You do not have to enter your initial schedule. CVBA will have the schedules entered for you. You have the responsibility to look over your teams schedule the week of March 28th through April 3rd. If we do not hear from you about any corrections. Your schedule will be locked. Any deleted games will show up CANCELED and your opponent and CVBA will be notified via email about the deletion. |
| Q4. How do I Change or Cancel a game? (back) |
| A4. HOME teams are only allowed to change Dates, Times and Locations. If for some reason you need to change the TEAM you're playing or the HOME/AWAY status you will have to DELETE the game. Again ONLY HOME TEAMS CAN DELETE GAMES!!! To add a Game press the Game button on the Schedule frame. You will be directed to the Add Game data grid. You now can enter Date (MM/DD), Time (HH:MMxm), Opponent (select from drop down list) and Location. You can also enter Practices and Other Events. Use the same format as in the Games. |
| Q5. How and when do I enter game scores? (back) |
| A5. Scores must be entered by the Home team. From the Schedule frame click the GAME link. You will then be directed to the Game maintenance page. Away team scores are on the first line. Home teams scores are on the second line. Be sure to press the Update button. Scores must be entered no later than 3 days from the date of game played. Standings will be automatically calculated. Wins, Loses and Points. |
| 6. Can I change the name of my team? (back) |
| A6. You can change the name of your team by logging on the site using your Member ID and Password. On your Teams Home Page click on Edit Team Information. You can change the name of your City too. Be careful when changing the other information on the screen (Division and Sub Division). If you mess up you can always change it back. Make sure you press Update to complete the changes. |
| 7. Why Can't I log on to the site? (back) |
| A7. The reason why you can't log on is the site has been locked for Schedule Entry. Check the CVBA Announcements frequently throughout the season. They will inform you of meetings, site problems. To read the messages hover over the message title and click. You will be directed to a more extensive message. We will tell you from time to time when the Web Site down for maintenance. If you don't read them you won't know. |
| 8. How do I contact CVBA? (back) |
| A8. Contact CVBA or Commissioners by clicking on Contact Us from the CVBA Home page. Remember, If you are not logged on you are emailing us with NO email, team or coach information. Please give us your Name, Team, League and email address with all correspondence. |
| 9.What to do with Rainouts or Postponed games...(back) |
| A9. If you have a rained out game and plan to reschedule... just blank out the DATE (mm/dd). This way when you do reschedule all you have to do |
| is enter the new DATE (mm/dd) plus it will not show up on the Delinquent Scores List. Remember only the home teams can make the changes. |
